Passionate about consumers? Track record of delivering useable insight? This resurgent U.K. retail business is looking for strong category focused individuals who get a buzz out of getting under the skin of consumers, analysing data / research, identifying issues and solving those issues in a creative manner. Taking responsibility for a key category and 2 direct reports, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys seeing the fruits of their own labour – you will be using your own insight to drive price, product range, packaging, promotions and all-round communications strategy for your category.
Our Ideal Candidate
Your background will be in a classic consumer FMCG or retail category marketing role. If you are from an FMCG background you must appreciate the pace and demands of a retail environment. If you’re from retail, you must be able to deliver sophisticated category insight. You must show initiative and be hands-on in your approach – have experience delivering activity that has solved problems in a creative way and be able to talk about that in a credible way. People management / development experience would be ideal.
